Lucretia's Story
I went to Clearview from 4th grade through 6. I look back now and know we were a progressive school ahead of its time. I remember the shelves between the 5 & 6 grade with specimens in formaldehyde. The science pets of different kinds that some of us were fortunate enough to be able to help with that. The animals were able to be rented out over the weekend and during the summer months.
I also remember the way that one or two of the teachers had her tables in circle and we would spend six weeks at a time setting different subjects. The different art projects that we used to do and they were even televised. I also remember the school opened up just so we could...Expand for more

I was a safety patrol person and thoroughly enjoyed that I lived halfway down the street in between Clearview and Lealman Junior high. So yes I used to walk to him from school even in the rain. Remember a project I was doing for the science fair it was a laden jar. Another time I was carrying a stack of books doing a book report.
I live in Central Florida now but I do miss the West Coast. I was involved in the medical dental field and teaching. Later on I became a tax preparer and have been doing taxes and working with QuickBooks. Seems like my 6th grade teacher was right I really enjoyed the numbers and helping people.
