Luis's Story
Life has been a great adventure.
Joined the Marines in 1975. Did many things and traveled to many places...grew up really fast. Retired in early 2002 and went back to college.
I took up an intereset in nursing and eventually graduated in 2008. Worked a couple of years in the Medical-Surgical Dept. and eventually got a shot at my dream job, Crictal Care. Have been working there since the beginning of 2011.
Bottom line--I love the work; it's challenging, pushes me to levels I never thought possible, work with great people who are simply a phenomenal team... couldn't ask for a better job--Thank you Lord! =)

We have two daughters. My eldest recently graduated from SDSU while our youngest and the youngest is now a junior at SDSU. Both are great kids with their mother's good looks and brains.
Personal passtimes & hobbies: Motorcycle Touring, always looking for new roads and trying different restaurants far off the beaten path. I also love hikes (Yosemite is my favorite place); I also love to play classical guitar (not much tallent but have lots of passion and patients, and I love to read. Oh yes, both my wife and I are gym-rats and love to work out 7 days a week.
Life passions: Faith in God, family, friends, great conversation, strong coffee, going places where I've never been and making a difference--one day a time.
