Sharon's Story
Life
I graduated in Class of 67. Cheri Dunshee, Sandy Criner, Mary Shaw and I all hung around together. I now live in Montana and raise mini dachshunds. I am divorced (have been since 1988) and have 3 children. Michelle is 41, Lura Marie is 38 and my baby is Ryan and he is 23 and engaged to be married. Lura is married with 2 kids, Apryl age 17 and Gage age 15. I have a degree in Family Science and COunseling from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. I have located Cheri and we chat on the puter everyday. Mary has passed away. And I cannot find Sandy.
I have lived on a working cattle and wheat ranch. My late husband was the foreman on the Cremer Ranch in Melville, MT. The pic is of me and Bert when we were married in 1976.I have driven farm trucks and tractors, helped doctor cattle (giving shots, etc). Where I lived was 18 miles from the nearest town, the small town of Melville had a lunch counter, post office, grocery store all in the same building. If you saw "Horse Whisperer" the scene where Robert Redford is talking on a phone in the middle of nowhere (it is supposed to be in Nevada) is in front of the that little store in Melville, MT. That movie was filmed in and around Big Timber, MT. My daughters went to a small 2 room school house in Melville just like on Little House on the Prairie.

I would love to see Mr Masters my senior year English Teacher. We all complained about him but he was a great teacher and encouraged my writing poetry.
I want old friends to remember me as someone they had fun with. Cruising Central (when I lived in Phoenix), going to VIP to see the Spyders and Precious Few.
To be truly happy Bert would still be alive, we would be retired and traveling around the country in a motorhome visiting friends and family and enjoying our kids and grandkids.
I was adopted and never felt I was really related to anyone but now that I have 3 grown kids and 2 precious grandchildren I feel like we are really a family. I look into the mirror and see people that look like me.
My one do-over would be to not let Bert drive the bale-wagon home the day he was killed. I wish I could have went and picked him up so that he would not have been on the road the day the semi hit his balewagon and killed him in our driveway.
I moved to Montana with Bert in 1976, we had lived together while he was on the road working with K&B Eningeering from 1973 til we got to Montana. We were married in 1976 in Red Lodge at a little church called St. Olaf's. Bert died on Oct 7th 1980. I grew up in San Diego and Phoenix. I ended up in Phoenix for the 2nd half of my junior year at Sunnyslope High School.
