Lydia's Story
Life
Ater high school I worked a few different jobs before having my daughter in 1984, thus becoming a single mother...In 1985 I moved from San Jose to Hollister to raise my daughter. I met my husband Ron, at a San Jose Sharks game in the 1994-1995 season and we were married in August 1998 and had a son in 2000. I've since moved to New Mexico with my husband and son, my daughter still lives in California along with my brother Robert and his family, the rest of the family made the move to the southwest. I'm a cancer survivor, living and loving life-also trying to keep up with my 7 year old.... I miss not being able to go to see a Sharks games (season ticket holder for many years) so I'm thankful for Directv's Center Ice...Go Sharks... and we also enjoyed...Expand for more
going to Stelth games too... My son is a hockey and lacrosse nut.. He also loves to fish.. Here in New Mexico it is like camping every day my husband says. We're in a fairly small town and we love it... After commuting from Hollister to Santa Clara from 1985 to 2005 this is a big change no traffic-laid back (sometimes too laid back) I believe they say if you want it tomarrow that means it will be ready next week. So basically we've had to slow way down and take life more slowly... At one time Hollister was that way too.. Not anymore but still a beautiful place to live. Please feel free to let me know you stopped by, I'm never sure if any of you remember me...I was very shy and still am somewhat. Hope life has treated you well..Take care and God Bless..
