Here is another rock animal climbing out of the creek.
Hope you saw the full moon on the first night of fall 9-22. It is called the Harvest - harvest moon when it comes on the exact date. The clouds managed to part enough for us to get a good look at it.
And one last critter.
One of our favorite spots on the bike path is the "rock zoo" A couple in Frisco (I think) have created animals or dinosaurs out of the rocks lining Ten Mile Creek.
More bike path color.
We took a bike ride from Copper to Frisco - it is down hill to Frisco and uphill coming back. About 16 miles. Not too bad for a couple who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary the month before.
This is one of the views on the bike path.
Looking through the aspen to Dillon Reservoir.
Dillon Reservoir with sail boats - one of my favorite views.
Bud and I went up to Copper Mountain over the Sept 17-19 weekend to see the Aspen. We weren't disappointed.
Most of the trees turn gold in Summit County, but this one was red.
This is the group shoot just before we all left to travel our separate ways.
We returned home in time to spend another day at the Hunters Hill pool with the grandkids before they started school. Alexander is in 7th grade and Hannah is in 4th grade. They grow up FAST.
Fixing dinner with five cooks.
This is Morton - the moose that Dave got two years ago. The fifth largest moose on record. We had some of him for dinner one night. He was very good.
Honey K's dog Ellie like to join in on the activities.
Indian Paintbrush
Ospry nest balanced at the top of a very tall pine tree.
