Lydia's Story
Life
I am also known as Abby (for my middle name Abigail) and that's how anyone from my high school days would remember me. I am a proud, hispanic woman, something which I was not in high school. My husband, Ron, and I work for local school districts in the mountain area where we live. Our children are Jake, who is now 30 and works at a local resort hotel and conference center as an AV tech and our daughter Anna, who is 25 and just got married last June to a wonderful man named Dustin Kurtley. She works at the local health clinic and is still going to school toward her R.N. degree. I'm anxiously looking forward to being a grandma someday soon.

re we live: We moved to Oakhurst, California the day after we got married on April 17, 1971. We now live in Coarsegold which is about 7 miles south of Oakhurst and about 20 miles from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. It is a combination of resorts and recreational areas but more and more people are moving here from the city making it more of a residential community. We love it here which is why we've lived here for 34 years and will probably never move. Our children also have made it their home, having lived away for a short period of time when they were in college.
I hope to hear from old friends at this site and will add to this bio later.
