Lynda's Story
Went to work for Southwestern Bell, Clarke and Courts, Southland Corp., and Humble Oil (just before it became Exxon). Married in 68 biggest mistake of my life and after divorce found the best man in the world. Carl and I lived in Crosby until he retired in 05 and we moved to Willis. d part time for a floral shop and did substitute teaching. I did lots of volunteer work in Crosby. I volunteered with PTA in Crosby as well as Texas PTA serving lastly as their treasurer in 2002 - 2004. We now live next door to a nephew and his family. Their 3 children plus another great nephew are like grandchildren to us. We are just as busy now as before but love being retired.
