Lynda's Story
I am currently living in Brookville, Indiana. I was married, but recently lost my husband to cancer. We were married for 24 years. I have 2 kids, Mike and Vicki, both named after good friends from school. Can you guess who? I also have 4 grandchildren.
I was/am a stay-at-home mom/grandmother. I have held a few jobs, from fast food (in my younger years) to cleaning dorms at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, but by far my favorite was being a preschool teacher.
My interests (besides my grandkids) are that I have a craft room that I almost live in and listening to Audibles while crafting, doing housework, or replying to texts and messages on Facebook from friends and family. I have what I call *Pr...Expand for more
obably should have*s but those are not to be confused with regrets, as I don't regret the decisions I have made.
I have traveled a lot, furthest being when I visited my sister in Bahrain and we went shopping and sightseeing in Dubai. The most meaningful trip I took was when my daughter and I went to Houston, Texas to visit with my dad for what we knew would be the last time, as he soon after passed from cancer. My son Mike lived in Houston as well, so seeing him was a bright point of the trip.
