Lynda's Story
Life
Hmmm, what to say? First, I was Lynda Talley when I attended school. I am not the shy, quiet one anymore. Also not the snob others might have thought in school..Usually have a genuine like for people--rare to find someone I really can't stand. Great sense of humor and I love to laugh. My motto is, "If it can't be fun, it is not worth doing".
I work for Dept. of Social Services in Riverside Co. CA and have 2 adult children. My son is in the AirForce with Special Forces and my daughter is married to a Marine currently serving in Iraq. I have one granddaughter living with my son and his wife in South Carolina. After Abiene TX I moved to CA, went to school and then back to TX and married my ex, moved back to CA and lived happily for 29 yrs. And suddenly hit a huge bump and divorced.
My ex and I have owned a catfish fishing business that led us to Lake Elsinore. We also owned a large autobody shop. I am an Employment Services Counselor for Social Services here in Riverside Co. (Norco). Love my job and gives me a chance to give back. It has taught me a true compassion for people and a great sense of "Cho...Expand for more

I was a liberal Democrat until both of my guys were fighting in Iraq in 2003 and I heard Senator Daschle speak negatively against the war, etc. and I promptly changed my political affiliation to Republican. I think George W. Bush is a kick... president and we are sooo lucky to have had him in office during the time our nation was under attack.
For fun,I sing Karaoke and it is too much fun and very relaxing. I like to Golf and bowl as well as of course fishing, camping, etc. I like movies, TV and reading. My job is very stressful at times and can be emotionally draining, so when I am off, I am really off and out to have fun and relax.
I attended elementary thru 7th grade in Abilene, TX and then my family move to CA and I ended up at Heinz Kaiser and then Newport Harbor High for Freshman yr and then back to Abilene High and then back to CA and Corona del Mar High. So, if I went to Fannin Ele, North Jr., or any of the CA schools, including Orange Coast College with you, lets reonnect.
