Life I went to UT for 1 year before things got interesting. I got married, moved to Germany as an Army wife in 1972, doing 2 years in Darmsdtadt. Had the chance to see The Netherlands and Switzerland. I've lived in Rhode Island 1974-now. I came back to Austin in 2003 because I found my highschool love, Paul Grundman, on this website, and he moved back to Rhode Island to live happily ever after with me! I have 3 grown "children": Adrienne (37), Jason (33),& Michelle (31), 2 of whom live in New England with their spouses. Michelle is on the corporate Accounting Team for Whole Foods in Cambridge MA and has taken a promotion/transfer to the home store in Austin. She has relocated there as of March 17, 2008. She and I drove down the weekend of March 15. I spent the week in Austin helping her get situated. She's in love with the city, no doubt, and has a headstart coz she's half-Austinite by birth! He's been Type 1 diabetic since age 8, and has lost 90% of his vision due to diabetic retinopathy within the last 2 years. This has been a major bump in his road, but has developed a plan. He's gone back to college as of Sept 2008 to get his degree. He and I are amazed at all the visual aids that exist for him. He's a smart guy and will do well.
