Life After high school, I was married that December 11. My first daughter was born November 24, 1973. My second daughter was born May 23, 1977. My ex-husband did a tour of Germany in the U.S. Army and that was an amazing 4.5 years in my life. I had the opportunity to see things that I had always dreamed of seeing one day. Touring the many castles and wineries and monasteries was phenomenal. I have so many photos from Germany to remember those times. I was divorced in 2005 after 32 years of marriage. I am a grandmother of three beautiful children. My oldest granddaughter is Mollie and she is 12. Her brother Alex Nathaniel Edward just turned 9. My third grandchild was born to my youngest daughter March 22, 2007. I have not seen her yet as they live in Burlington, Iowa and I have moved from that area to Picayune, Mississippi. I came here to care for my ailing dad who was a widower of one year when I got here. He succumbed to his grief and his bad health finished the process and he passed away in August, 2006. So, now it is just my brother and I remaining. I have had the opportunity to begin life again and am dating. I am having a world of fun and the guy is terrific. He and I knew each other in high school and he even attended two of the parties I held. He was in and out of my life back then and now he is back in my life. Who knows for sure what the future holds!???!!!! All I know is that there is love after a divorce and I have managed to find it. Workplace My work history actually began when my oldest daughter was about 8 months of age and I briefly went to work for the Godchaux's on Canal Street in the credit department. That didn't last long as I was still so naive and young and didn't quite know how to handle being a mom and working. So I quit.
