Lynn's Story
Life after Sheehan....
I worked and went to college. Finished my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Master's Degree in Counseling-Higher Education. Along the way got married to my husband Stan and had four kids...Michael, Laura, Clara and Hannah....the love and joy of my life. I was truly blessed and can't imagine life without them.
My son, Michael, graduated from GW in May 2009. Michael, with the love of his life, Jamie eloped to Las Vegas and were married on July 14, 2018. My daughter, Laura, graduated from CUA in 2011. Laura married her love, Michael, in 2012 and is working at Columbia University. I recently became a grandmother to Oliver Chase Kohrn and am thrilled. Michael and Jamie are over the moon with joy. Oliver is the cutest! . We helped move them back to New York from Miami. We now see them regularly. Oliver always has smiles for his Mimi and Papa. Update: Mimi and Papa have another grandbaby. Our precious Arlo was born in September of 2022 and she has brought additional joy into our lives. She is the sweetest, but as we recently found out has a great set of lungs and can scream with the best of them. We love both grandkids to the moon and back.
Life is an adventure-enjoy every day!
