Lynn's Story
I graduated from Newark State College in '73 with a BA in Fine Arts education and moved to Daytona Beach FL area right after graduation. I worked with deaf kids for a couple of years and worked at the state rehab facility for the blind for 30 years teaching arts and crafts, employability skills, life skills and low vision training.
I've traveled extensively throughout the US(Love the Southwest) and I've taken several Carribean cruises. I live about 2 miles from the beach but rarely have time to go. I design jewe...Expand for more
lry in my spare time and belong to a local rock, gem and mineral club where I take and teach classes.
I have two exotic birds and a black standard Poodle as an assistance dog, who travels with me everywhere and helps me by picking up dropped items and opening doors for me. I love going to theme parks(especially Disney and Sea World). In December'11 I fell and broke my ankle. After 2 surgeries and 3 weeks in rehab I decided to retire. I am mostly recovered and enjoying retirement. After thirty years I was ready.
