hey y'all - you Greyhounds! Go!!!
It's been a while. Left MO. shortly after HS. Married Miss Connie Lee Brown of Powell & (Rocky Comfort HS '66.) We've been married now for close to 43 yrs. now.
I attended college in southern Arizona & in Arkansas. I have been a minister for 40 yrs. (That can't be right! I'm not even that old!) Ha! 34 of those yrs in my present location... Kokomo,IN.
Connie & I have been blessed with 3 sons & 3 grandkids.
I've had the privilege of seeing some of you at past school reunions, etc. My! How you've all changed!!! What happened? Yeah! I know... me tooooooo!!! Ha!
I love archery & gun (hunting & target shooting), fishing... 4 wheeling in my Jimmy & my Honda Rancher...W...Expand for more
haaHoooo! all the things I grew up doing down at Powell & on Mikes & Sugar Creeks...& more.
And oh yeah, I love to stand before crowds & speak. (I think I just about flunked speech at Rocky... or did they even offer it?? I was too nervous to remember!) Ha! Not any more. Kinda got use to it after 40 yrs. of preaching.
I look back with great pride regarding my youth... the wonderful teachers (for the most part) and the great kids (for the most part) at Rocky. Wow! I wouldn't trade all that for any school in the world or for any other experience. I'm thankful to have shared my Rocky Comfort GS & HS experience with so many of you. You're some of the best folks anywhere.
