Lynn's Story
I've always seemed to be one of those fish swimming in a vast sea not really knowing quite where I belong ... or ... like one who is continually walking along lifes journey ... one step forward, two steps back {laugh} ... but like I tell most people:
"Life is like a bowl of cherries ... savor the sweet and spit out the pits!"
I have a wonderful, incredibly loving husband of 1 year who when we said I do had already gone thru "for worse" (hopefully), 4 terrific children - 2 out of the nest, 1 who just left the nest, and 1 who will be in the nest for quite some time still, and 2 adorable grandchildren ... yes I said grandchildren! My two eldest started young, not me {laugh}!
I had a car accident in October 2005. I haven't been able to work...Expand for more
at all. I think the hardest part is going from being an independent person who can do anything for herself to needing help with too many things. That and not being able to dance any more! It's a slow process, but I'm hoping things will get better eventually. I've been working "Pain Management Specialists" now, for spinal and nerve issues.
I'm fortunate. The accident made us have to postpone our wedding ... and we eventually gave up on having an actual wedding and decided to have a courthouse ceremony - which we did on New Years Eve 2007 ... while many might have walked away ... my guy stuck around, making me feel like one of the luckiest women in the world!
To all of you ... I wish you "Peace Beyond Understanding" and "Good Journies"!
