Lynn's Story
College -
I attended the University of Illinois from 1991 - 1995 and graduated with a degree in Finance. I played flute and piccolo all 4 years in various concert bands and 2 years in the Marching Illni. I lived in Urbana all 4 years of school, made lifelong friends and met my future husband. In every way, college > high school (sorry, WTHS).
Career -
I spent nearly 10 years in management consulting but am now a "stay at home" Mom and over-committed volunteer.
I began my career in Chicago working for Arthur Andersen and left two years later to work for Deloitte & Touche in Minneapolis. In March 1999 I transferred with Deloitte...Expand for more
and moved back to Chicago. The bulk of my consulting experience focused on dispute consulting (damage calculations in preparation for litigation) and process/technology improvement.
Family -
I married my college boyfriend, Jonathan, in July 1997. We have two kids. Ethan is 6 and Elise is 2.
Other stuff -
We live in Old Irving Park on the NW side of Chicago. I'm an active volunteer involved at Ethan's school (Belding Elementary) and our neighborhood association, Old Irving Park Association.
My hobbies include music (I began learning acoustic guitar this past January) and running. I completed two half-marathons this past Spring.
