Lynn's Story
Life
I've made my way from Pittsfield, MA to Greenfield, MA to Brattleboro, VT and now I'm pretty well settled in Keene, NH. I have a house here, so I should be here for a while! :) Not too long after graduating with a BS in Business and MIS from college in Syracuse, NY, I got the opportunity to become a computer programmer for a company in Brattleboro, VT. All of my moves have been because of that job, and now that the company HQ is in Keene, I've put down roots here. I got engaged in 2019 to my boyfriend of about 4.5 years. No kids, but I have 2 wonderful nieces and 2 nephews. :)
College
I went to college at Lemoyne College in Syracuse, NY. Going away to college was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was there that I broke out of my shell and became more of an independent person.

Chinese food place by heart! There was the occasional chicken patty (usually without the gritty bone chunk!), and the yummy chocolate mousse, oh, and extras from the event catering that my roommate did for the college. :)
I was the queen of procrastination in college, and I still am, I guess. :) There were times that I had all the research books in my room, but wouldn't go through them until the night before the paper was due. I would finish just in time to go to class, and then had to sleep the rest of the day. I still managed a "B" or better on those papers!
Workplace
Let's see...I believe my first job was as a waitress in a little breakfast/lunch restaurant. From there I moved onto being a chambermaid in a hotel, then I was a grocery store cashier,and I eventually combined that with a job at a different hotel from the first one, doing office management. Now, since 1998, I've been working as a computer programmer.
