Lynne's Story
Life
I am a mom of 3 children-2 boys, 1 girl and remarried, May 2007, to a great guy. My career choice-Paralegal. My sport of choice-SOCCER. I have lived in Canyon Lake, TX for over 18 years. I am still recognized as the one with long hair and loud laugh. Yep, you still can't miss me, even when you can't see me.
In my extra time (yeah right), I am very involved in our community's soccer club. I coach at least 2 teams per season, referee youth and adult games (recreational level) and I play on a co-ed team and a women's team. Absolutely love the game!!!! Who would have thought that I could be coordinated enough to play soccer? Enjoy the game so much I have obtained several coaching licenses with the highest being my National Youth License.
School
My secondary school career was full of many challenges, but through friends and God's grace, I survived the challenges, strengthened friendships, and although I may not keep in touch with my wonderful friends from High School, they are thought of often. It just seems like we have all gone our separate ways in life, found our place to stand, and we have each planted our...Expand for more
own roots, and have tried to move the earth in our own ways. My home life and work life keep me so busy that I barely have time for a social life.....I think that's what people are still calling that.
However, God continues to keep me and my family blessed, and I pray that all those who have entered my life, and have made an impact upon my life are also blessed. Trials are designed to make us strong in character and sensitive to others' trials.
Workplace
Never flipped any burgers!!!! I worked at Furrow Building Materials in Conroe, TX for about 4 years, started out at the bottom as a PT cashier and moved up to FT and running the office of the Commercial Sales Dept. Transferred to Austin, worked at 2 of the 3 stores in Austin as Cashier Dept. Manager for 2 more years. I stayed home with my first born for about 6 months and then began working in New Braunfels as a secretary for a private attorney. From there, I obtained my paralegal certification and am still working in the legal field as a Paralegal for another attorney in New Braunfels. Next goal is to become a Certified Paralegal through the Texas State Bar.
