Life
Hi everyone!! Hope everyone from the class of '78 is doing well.
I moved to Nashville, TN is 1979 to attend college at Trevecca Nazarene University, where I received an AA degree to be a Medical Assistant. I quickly found out though that the medical field was not for me. I ended up in the Lawn Irrigation business for 10 years, where I was co-owner of Evergreen Irrigation.
I am now employed by the Gulf Ridge Council, Boys Scouts of America, where I have been now for 4 months. Prior to that I worked with the Middle Tennesse Council in Nashville, Tn. I love Tennessee, but I am glad to be back home in Florida. Tampa is close enough to Port Charlote that I get to go...Expand for more

I have one son, Michael Neil II, who was involved in Marching Band (like mother like son), Army ROTC, Police Explorers, and achieved his Eagle Rank in Boy Scouts. He graduated from LaVergne HS is 2004, and will be a sophomore this year at Middle Tennessee State University. He is now involved in the MTSU Band of Blue.
I have been involved with the local Little League and also served on its Board of Directors. I was on the LaVergne HS Band Booster Board, where I was the Treasurer and in charge of the uniforms, while working closely with the Band Director to plan trips, etc.
