Lynne's Story
Married, lost my religion, became a parent, graduated university, became a teacher, survived treatment for cancer (fingers crossed--still okay), started playing piano again after 20+ years, fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and hope to retire there.
I can't make the reunion, so this is my way of saying hi to some of you. Anyone wanting to get back in touch would be welcome.
The final "kid count" turned out to be 5--four sons and one daughter. It figures that, after growing up with sisters, I end up in the deep end of the testosterone zone.
My husband Frank is the interesting one. His current avocation is making and playing Native American flutes. The Utah County Sheriff's office is what actually helps put shoes on our feet. The flutes help him stay sane.

I'm still learning and growing and I hope to never stop.
If you were to see me and talk to me again, your first reaction would be "man, has she changed." But the changes have been good ones, for me anyway. I mean, I certainly hope none of us are still our 17-year-old selves.
Oh yeah, and about the teaching thing? Don't say "I told you so" or I'll have to deck you. I teach freshman English and have 7th, 8th, and 9th graders in French I and II--Utah has the old-fashioned junior high setup, but only because each class has something like 500 kids in it (families are bigger here), which would make for 2000+ in the high schools if they were four-year. I'm fond of saying I love the kids but hate their parents /hyperbole.
Stay tuned. . .or not. Follow your bliss.
Lynne
