Madelon's Story
Hi there,I lived in Smithers from 1972 to 1977. I did'nt graduate freom there. I thought I should clerify that bit of data. My mom taught at Muhiem elementary,Mrs L. Hubert , and my brother Bruce and I attended Muhiem and Chandler Park schools. Imoved from Smithers to my moms' hometown of Chemainus. Let me tell you , that being an odd one out in asmall town liuke Smithers is hard, try moving to your mothers even smaller hometown. Everybody knows you but you don't know anyone. Not cool But I survived and thrived.3 months after highschool I met my 1st Husband. 11 years and 3 sons later Iwas on my own The youngest 10 months old oldest amost 6yrs old. I was on my own for 6 years when I met David(husband #2 and last)we've been together 13 years now. We figure we are to lazy to look for anyone else. Besides we still like each other. One of the things we like to do together is we extreme 4x4 in the mountains on Vacouver island , on the sunshine coast (Powel River) and in the canyon lands of Utah.My sons are all grown up now ,Christopher is 24, William is 21and Spencer is 19 plus I have 2 step children Aaron 30 and Kristine 27 and 1 grandaughter Willow who is 11 weeks old.
