Hank (Henry Barger) and I have been married 60 years. We have 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandkids. We've lived in Tampa, Florida for the past 43 years, (life is great in Gods Country). I am a Nationally Certified Interpreter for the Deaf, As such I spent 10 years as Executive Director of the Tampa Deaf Services Center, This was before the advent of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We provided interpreter services and telephone relay services for many years before it became federally mandated and funded. It was a great learning experience and a very gratifying career. I left that position and went into the public school system for another 13 years, retiring in 2004. I now interpret on a free-lance basis when called by an agency. I love the flexability and the option of selecting jobs that are very interesting. Court and legal settngs are my forte.
