Malcolm's Story

Life I must admit that life has been good over the years. Married to the same wonderful woman for 52 of them....3 great kids (Angela, Michelle & Scott) along with 8 adventurous, spirited grandchildren. Retired in March 2007 and we make use of our new 42' motorhome to travel the southern USA for the winter months. This year we drive to Arizona in early where we leave our rv and fly to Madrid and drive around Spain for a month. We then pick a 24 day cruise aboard the Oceania ship (the Nautica) and travel through the Med...down the Suez and into Dubai. We are there for 3 days then leave again on the same ship (36 days) with 4 stops in India and then down the east coast of Africa (Kenya. Tanzania, Madagascar etc) into Capetown. After 10 days driving South Africa...we fly into Namibia...pick up a ...Expand for more
4x4 and do a 18 day tour of the game park and deserts. Back into Arizona on February 7th where we continue our winter vacation in our motorhome and will be home by early April in time to do our taxes and get re-aquainted with our family (if the grandkids can remember what we look like). For those who may want to follow our exploits...our travel BLOG is wwwdotmaladonadventuresdotblogspotdotcom Any comments that you may have will be appreciated and responded to. Recently moved to new home in Chilliwack, BC overlooking the Vedder River. Lotsa of sockeye salmon and bald eagles to see. Interests include travel, classic cars (1927 Model T Speedster and a 1965 Rolls Royce), ham radio and treasure hunting with a metal detector.
