Life
Hello All!
I graduated hs a year early in 96, and then I worked as an account executive/Marketing Executive for a couple companies and did well. I lived in Dallas until 2003, a few months after my mom died, then I moved to Jacksonville, FL to take a job. I met my husband, a sailor, in Jax in 2003. Who would have guessed I'd marry a sailor!?
We were married in 2004 and now it's about to be 2008 and we have a 5 month old daughter Andra. She's the light of my life and I couldn't be happier.
After 9 years I suffered from a little burnout and needed a change. I decided to go back to school in 05, and now I'm a senior at the University of IL in Springfield, my husband is a grad student here and we'll be moving in Jan 08. What can I say about our lives? Well we're pretty boring now compared to my single life, but I'm loving it. I have a fairly hectic day, I take 16 hours, I work for a promotions company as...Expand for more
a web admin., and I stay at home with Andra. I plan on homeschooling my daughter and will put off my new career until after she and our future kids are grown. Things that are important to me: God, my husband whom I love more than air, my darling daughter, my kitties; Hades & Finney, history, reading, and last but not least politics. Politics has surprisingly been an important part of my life.
W. is my hero, I voted for him 3 times(once as governor in TX). I'm a political volunteer and talk radio addict. My husband worked on staff for the IL Republican HQ last year, so that meant I got suckered into a lot of phone banking. But I've also walked precincts, I'm an election judge, a pollwatcher, and I've stuffed my share of envelopes all for the conservative cause. I'm thinking Huckabee for 2008 though. I love Giuliani, but his stance on gun control and abortion make me nervous.
