Mallory's Story
Life
Hi, I had a great time in high school and miss all my friends. Like most people, I haven't kept in touch like I wish I had. My mom died just a week after graduation (she had been very ill with Lou Gehrig's disease during my last couple years of high school) so I went through some rough times.
After high school, I attended USI. I lost my high school love, Jim Siebe, and was heartbroke. But I found a new love in 1993 and married him in 1999. We have two little boys and live in Darmstadt just north of Evansville in a nice house in the country. I had a great career as an office manager but left it to be a stay at home mom when my second son was born. I work from home now running a daycare & am also the Clerk-Treasurer for the Town of Darmstadt.
My husband, Mark Lowe, was in a near fatal car accident March 31, 2005 he was in St. Mary's ICU for over a month. Our story was on the news several times and in the paper. Anyway, we were just getting back to normal when I was diagnosed with cancer last summer. I've spent the last year in several surgeries, 6 months of chemo & numerous radiation treatments. Then when we finally thought we were in the clear, my husband got laid off from Toyota. But we are a strong family & we will make ...Expand for more
it.
I would love to hear from anyone from school. Classmates.com doesn't let us post our email address but I will spell it out and maybe that will get past their rules.

College
I wish I would have taken advantage more of my college years, I was still mourning over the loss of my mother and tended to be a recluse.
I really wish I had attended some parties and saw more of the typical 'college life' I think I would have loved it!
Workplace
I've always done computer/administrative office work. I love computers! My last job was a district office manager for a local company. I supervised 3 offices in Illinois, Indiana & Kentucky. I loved my job, even had a company car, lots of benefits, but after I had my second child, it just wasn't worth it to me to leave them in a daycare all day for someone else to raise. I gave it all up a couple years ago and am now a stay at home mom and loving it! I just started doing daycare for just a couple kids in 2007 and also was appointed Clerk-Treasurer for our town of Darmstadt. These are both jobs I can do from home, so that works out great.
