Mandelin's Story
Life
I moved to Florida to live with my dad in the summer of 2001, after spending a year at Columbus State Community College in Ohio.
I've lived in Florida for almost 4 years now. I'm still living with my dad, and I'll probably stay in his house until I graduate, which will hopefully be after 2 more semesters.
After that, I'm considering moving to yet another state... possibly California, or maybe, if I have a change of heart about the weather, even New York to be near Kimber.
Last year I had the honor of being in my dad's wedding to Tina Scarola. She is one of my best friends now. We were very excited to be having a new edition to the family in October 2004, but there were complications, and we lost my little sister. We all believe that things happen for a reason, and everyone is very optimistic for another baby in the future.
I'm still not married, obviously, or anything even remotely close to that. My boyfriend of a year and a half and I broke up a couple months ago, and that has been the most serious thing I've had since high school. I'm really more concerned with travelling and starting my own career and my own life first. Of cour...Expand for more

I work for a small business in Davie, Florida part time while I'm going to school. I'm lucky to have my aunt Julie as my boss, and my dad as a co-worker (which can also be a pain, I have to admit!). It's a good job, and I intend to keep it until I graduate and find my calling. If I were more interested in the freight brokering business (and Florida), I'd probably stay here forever.
I've been blessed with a lot of friends in Florida. I've made a few very close friends, and many acquaintances. They keep me busy on the weekends, and up all night on weekdays, so I can blame the dark circles under my eyes and my wrinkles at age 30 on them.
And, of course, I've kept in touch with my closest friends from Ohio as well. From our class, specifically, I talk to Rebekah Bolton and Kimber Myers very often. I still consider them both to be my best friends.
I feel like a lot about me has changed since high school, in my personality and my physical appearance. But, it's really too much to try and explain right here, so if you want to get to know me (again), email me!
