Mandy's Story
Life
My life in the last 10 years has been interesting, but pretty basic. I lived in Martinez/Concord after high school until July 1999, where then I moved to Sacramento. While living there I received a Paralegal Certificate of Completion from UNC, Lorenzo Patino School of Law. I then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and got stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, where I served at two duty stations, the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) and Beachmasters Unit TWO. moved back to California from December 2003 to September 2004. We moved back to Virginia Beach, VA in September 2004 due to the fact that my son's father was stationed out here. And, naturally my son needed to know who is father was. Unfortunately Jaydon lost his father in September 2006 due to a brain anneurysm. Currently we are now living in Norfolk and have been since October 2005. I have a job at a property management company and I have a wonderful boyfriend of over 2 years, Steve. I am grateful that there is someone in our lives that is as wonderful as he is. He makes and will make a fantastic male role model for Jaydon. That pretty much sums it up in a nutshell. :)
