Mandy's Story
I lived on Pine St. for many years. I was sad when I moved from Quincy at the end of 5th grade. I moved to Strathmore, very active in FFA and Ag. business. Parents divorced and I left Strathmore, I moved to Mariposa,worked at the Sheriff's Office/Jail and studied business law, and law enforcement, graduated high school, graduated college in Merced-(EMT/Medical Assisting). When I left Mariposa, I moved to Columbia/Sonora to operate and manage a business in Columbia State Park. Through all the years, I still missed home(Quincy)and it was always my goal to return to Quincy, and my friends, and finally I am this close. I am now living in Standish, by Susanville. I am just over the hill from Quincy, and I hope that I can reconn...Expand for more
ect with my childhood friends. Hope you guys are out there somewhere. It is very important to me to meet my friends again, so I paid the money to be a Gold member to reconnoect, but I am disappointed that there are so many that I haven't heard from. I hope to hear from someone soon. I know that it's been a very long time and we were really young, but I hope ya'll remmember me.
If it would help, I could post a list of names.LOL!! Seriously though, I remember the day we left Quincy, and I guess I'm wierd, becauswe my friends meant so much to me that I have always remembered those impressions. When we said,"friends forever!" I meant it.LOL!! I hope that all of you are doing well!
