Rev. Marcelino's Story

Marcelino Morales was born in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, to a humble family, grew up in the Church of God and the prophetic word is manifested with the fulfillment of his pastoral ministry. At age six, along with his four sisters, Rev. Morales parents separated, affecting their lives forever. His beloved mother, Lydia Tirado Rivera, faithful servant of Christ and a seamstress by vocation, continued raising her five children on her own, having the support of her faith in God and the beautiful virtue of her maternal love. Despite her tough battles, she repeatedly received words of prophecy that one day her son, Marcelino would become a faithful servant of God and teach His Word. Today, those words are fulfilled in accordance with the divine will of God. During the middle stages of his youth and concerned about the family’s financial situation, at the age of 17 Marcelino enlisted in the United States Army. Years later, he met Christella, who he loved and wanted her to be his wife. This became a reality in 1990 when the two married in the city of Hanau, Germany. Currently the Morale’s have been married over 25 years of marriage. Marcelino says, “He loves Christella as the first day he saw her and gives thanks to God for giving him a Christian woman, and the children, grandchildren, and great-grandson that are part of their lives today." After 25 years of military service and having survived two wars, Rev. Morales retired from the military to devote himself to the vocation of his pastoral calling, becoming soldier of Jesus Christ, teaching, speaking, and counseling. He thanks God for his protection and the promise revealed to his beloved mother, echoed in the words of the prophet Jeremiah, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5). As part of his education and intellectual preparation, Rev. Morales graduated from MICAR Christian University with a Doctorate Degree in Christian Counseling in 2014 with a 4.0 GPA. In 2011, he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University Lynchburg, Virginia. Rev. Morales holds a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources from the University of Louisville, Kentucky, and an Associate Degree in Computer Programming from Central Texas College. He also obtained a Diploma in Christian Education from the Assemblies of God Eastern Bible Institute. For his secular work, he has continued with his professional development education with a series of Certifications from Villanova University from 2013 to May 2015: Master Certificate in Lean Enterprise Solutions - Information Technology; Lean Six Sigma; Six Sigma Green Belt - Information Technology; Master Certificate in IT Service Management; ITIL® Foundation; Mastering Project Management; Master Certificate in IS/IT Project Management; Project Management Capstone; Maximizing Team Effectiveness for the IS/IT Project Manager; Project Management for IS/IT Professionals. Rev. Morales devotedly serves God and gives him credit for his knowledge gained through his military career, education, and professional development. He is a Professor of The International Potter House Institute, Inc. in the States of Kentucky and Indiana. During 2014, their Institute became part of MICAR Christian University therefore; the students that will graduate from the Institute will receive a Diploma from an Accredited University. Today, Dr. Marcelino Morales, along with his beloved wife Dr. Christella Morales actively pastor the congregation of Iglesia La Viña, Inc. located in the city of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Marcelino Morales nació en Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, en una familia humilde, se crió en la Iglesia de Dios y la palabra profética se manifiesta con el cumplimiento de su ministerio pastoral. A los seis años, junto con sus cuatro hermanas, sus padres se separaron, lo que afecta sus vidas para siempre. Su amada madre, Lydia Tirado Rivera, fiel sierva de Cristo y costurera por vocación, continuó criando sus cinco hijos por su cuenta, puesta su apoyo de fe en Dios y la hermosa virtud de su amor maternal. A pesar de sus duras batallas, ella recibió en varias ocasiones las palabras profecía de que un día su hijo, Marcelino se convertiría en un fiel siervo de Dios y enseñar Su Palabra. Hoy, esas palabras se cumplen de acuerdo con la voluntad divina de Dios. Durante su juventud y preocupado por la situación financiera de la familia, a la edad de 17 Marcelino se alistó en el ejército de Estados Unidos. Años más tarde, conoce a Christella, con quién en el año 1990 se casaron en la ciudad de Hanau, Alemania. Actualmente los Morales han estado casados ​​durante más 25 años de matrimonio.
