Marcia's Story

I hope you all remember me as a student who applied myself. I just wanted to do it right the 1st time & get out of high school as fast as possible! After high school I got my FIRST Associate's Degree at Clayton Junior College in Business Administration. This set me on a course to work at hospitals and in the medical field. I went back to Clayton Junior College and obtained my 2nd Associate's Degree in Urban Life (translation = one course short of Criminal Justice due to my counselor's error). But, I didn't care as long as I graduated. I love NASA, technology, the moon (I'm a romantic at heart), and I've always wanted to be the first woman in space, but alas Sally Ride took that honor away from me because SHE was. Oh Well! My favorite way to relax is to go shopping! I don't have to tell you that I NEVER was a wild child in school. I followed the straight & narrow. listen to my radio under the covers when I was supposed to have gone to bed. I felt SO guilty! It was written all over my face the next morning at breakfast I'm sure! I am a Christian. My inspiration comes from God & my faith in Him. I love nature, animals. I feed everything in my yard. Stray cats, abandoned dogs, deers, birds, opossums, squirrels. Although I'm not real fond of foxes, raccoons, Coyotes, & snakes! I know when I was 12, I thought people our age were "old." Now, 100-years-old looks pretty young to me! At one hospital I worked at my bowling team always came in 1st or 2nd place. Hummm, wonder what I did with all those trophies? I probably can't even pick up a ten lb bowling ball now! Oh, one more thing, my favorite season of the year is Spring even though my sinuses are killing me as we speak. Well, that's it for now. Email me anytime - as you can tell, I love to "talk."
