Marcia's Story
After moving to San Diego in 1976, college in SC, back to Chicago then San Diego, married in 1984 to wonderful man. I raised two step-daughters since they were in Kindergarten and now have a five year-old granddaughter. My husband and I moved to Frisco, TX in 2004.
My life changed quite a bit after March of 1989 when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The MS was stable for a few years, then the decline started. Now I am on diability and my life is different than I had imagined.
I am working on making peace with what my life is. It is what it is.
I would very much like to reconnect with some of my childhood friends. It seems friendships are so fleeting and I still hold so much love and gratitude for the friends who help shaped my personality.

Especially four teacherer From whom I learned some wonderul life lesson: 1. Mr Zygursky (7th grade social studies) "The Masses Are Asses" The begining of my political introduction.
2. Nancy Siegal (fifth grade home room) Treat others as you want to be treated. Put your self in others'
shoes and imagine how you would feel in their situation. Empathy.
3. Sandy Kramer Summer school crochet class between fifth and sixth grade. Great confidence booster, and taught
a craft the child can use and pass on for years and feel a sense of accommploshment.
4. Mr Nelson Fourth Grade science and math for his increible patience and instilling in me a great wonder in all science that I pass on to all the children I have any influence on.

I am eternally grateful for the wonderul early eduation I received. It should be a model for all school districts.
