Marcie's Story
After high school, I went to Bridgewater State for my bachelors degree in criminology. I got a job as an admin assistant with a large environmental company on the Cape. While there, I went back to school at Northeastern, and received my Occupational health and safety certificate and became a safety officer at the same environmental company. In 1999, the company sent me to CA for a two week job...I was there for over 3 months, and met my future husband. After the first 6 months of our relationship...Expand for more
, we were engaged, and I moved to CA and took a job with another environmental/design firm as a system analyst. In 2001, we married at Plimouth Plantation. In 2004, we were pregnant with our first son, who unfortunately passed away at 7 months. In 2006, we welcomed a premature but healthy baby boy.
I believe that I am much different than when I was in high school. I am much more out going and out spoken. At times I wish I could do my high school years over again, and be the person I am today.
