Marcus's Story
Life
Since graduating from Campus, I moved to Baltimore to attend Morgan State University. I studied Fine Arts/Graphic Design. I pledged Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. (fifth largest black fraternity. I also became a Freemason. Still single; have three beautiful Godchildren and four handsome nephews(Michael, Robert, Jr., Charles and Judah) and one neice(Megan). I still keep in touch with Corey Williams and Jasen Govine (Class of 1988).
School
I had two crushes...Ayesha Winston and Lisa Stephen. Mrs. Hunter(Business Education) inspired me the most. She didn't play. "Keep your fingers curled!" Mrs. McCullogh, my accountant teacher was the coolest. She gave me a passing grade even though I used to sleep alot in back of the classroom. Mrs. Hunter gave me the business savvy and Mrs. McCullogh taught me how to count my own money. What little their is. Smile. If I had a chance to do it all over again, I would. I would TALK MORE. My funniest memories was seeing Mr. Dorset walk around like he was Playa Playa and tryin to h...Expand for more
ook up with Ms. Crewe. My happiest memory was graduation seeing everyone dressed up. My craziest memory was when Sonya Hunter(Brooklyn keeps on takin it) had a fight with one of the female security guards in the senior lounge. We didn't have a lounge after that but...man oh man...she shouldn't have got in Sonya's face. I miss Campus and everything about it even the M101 bus.
College
Morgan in the late eighties was unbelievable. I don't know how it is now with all those new and renovated buildings but we had fun anyway. Baldwin Hall always had a keg tapped on homecoming. There was always some type of "function" happening at Baldwin. Tracy "Wiggs" was my second floor RA. We made our own rules. When I moved to Argonne, Perry "P-Love" was my roommate. That was when the MIAKAs was deep. I remember the refectory "rejectory." Guys use to pushed the girls down the hill when it snowed. All the pledge lines would be in front of the Soper Library every day at 4pm to do skits. Everyone that went to Morgan studied "Bridge-ology."
