Marcy's Story
Life
Life bio...hmmm, well first thing I can't believe I am as old as I am!! The time has flown by and continues to fly at an alarming speed!
I'm married to Michael and we met on-line years ago. He was in Rapid City, SD and I was still in Zanesville, the rest as they say is history. I have no children of my own but I do have a step son, Shawn; 2 beautiful granddaughters, Nacadia, 8 and Nevaeh,6.
We live 8 miles south of Athens in a little town called Shade and I work at Ohio University, College of Education. From 1976-94 I worked at Good Sam but when Bethesda and Good Sam merged I lost my management position.
My life is good and I'm happy with where I am. My husband and I have dogs, 4 cats we share our life with and I have to tell you, I wouldn't have it any other way!
Michael and I spend time going to concerts the most recent was Willie Nelson and man did he give a good concert!! We saw Bob Seger two years ago and imagine this, that beautiful long black hair o...Expand for more
f his is now silver !! But he still rocks and gave 3 encores. Great concert!! We've also attended The Stones, Bob Dylan, Phil Collins, Elton John, Eric Clapton, John Foggerty, Neil Young, and a couple of years ago, the Doobie Brothers who played at the Big Bear Balloon Festival in Columbus. We saw Lewis Black in Columbus and he was nice enough to take a photo with me!! I might be older, but I still like to rock. As I said, Life is good. I hope to hear from my friends of long ago and to catch up on what has happened in their lives.
I have Maysville on my list, not because I went to school there, but because I knew so many kids who went to school there. I also went to Lakeview and Lakeview dances, Zane Trace, (that was fun!!) what else, oh yes, there use to be a bar on Maysville Pike and I think it was called the Monteray Inn. Uhhh they served minors....so there and the Ponderosa! Oh the memories. I would not change a thing.
So there you have it. A little more about me.
