Marcy's Story

Life Married my wonderful husband Gary Pyrtle while I was student teaching, then graduated from Appalachian State in 1993 w/a degree in Music Ed. Gary & I live in Reidsville, NC just north of Greensboro. My husband is originally from Reidsville. We have 3 kids, born in 1997, 1999, and 2002...Expand for more
. I teach music part-time at an elementary school here in Reidsville. Gary is the principal at an elementary school in nearby Eden, NC. I write music and had my first piece published a few years ago. I also sing Christian music and have recorded my first CD, released in late October of 2002.
