Marek's Story
Life
Well, it's been 5 years since i graced the halls of the "dub" and i've pretty much done what i expected i would be doing..for the most part. I've graduated w/ my BS degree at ECU and I'm entering my 2nd year of Graduate School pursuing my MS at ECU. I'm still in Greenville working as a Teacher Assistant at an Elementary School here and I got married in October of last year!
Above all, God has blessed me to be productive and I wanted to thank all of you from the class of 99' for making my time at WC so much fun..maybe I'll go back and teach there someday..who knows? It's also good to hear of so many of you doing your thing and doing it well. Keep in Touch

School
I started my educational career at Briarwood Elementary for my first 2 years of school (1986-1988). I was transferred to Cotswold Elementary School in the 2nd grade (1988-1989) and was there until i graduated in 1993.
I then went to Randolph Middle and was there for 3 years (1993-1996). I then went to the greatest high school, WCHS from 1996 to 1999. I'm glad that I was transferred to Cotswold b/c i would have been going to ei...Expand for more

I just finished my Bachelor's Degree at ECU in 2003 and will be graduating w/ my Master's Degree in 2005. I may even go and pursue my Doctorate Degree after a couple years off.
College
I enjoyed my four years at ECU greatly and I know that I made the right choice in going there. I have met so many life-long friends there, not to mention my wife-to-be in October. The only disadvantage to going to ECU was that i was 4 hrs away from the QC, but there were a couple of WC grads from c/o 98' and one other from 99' (Korah Schaffert) who were there.
Workplace
I just accepted a job working in the school system as a teacher assistant for 3 special education teachers at an Elementary School. Before that, i worked on campus while at ECU and I also work part-time as a Personal Trainer at a Gold's Gym in Greenville. Before getting this job, i spent the last school year teaching at ECU for our undergraduate exercise classes, teaching aerobics(believe it or not) and physical conditioning.
I'm glad to be getting a "real" job w/ benefits before i get married and also to get some experience teaching in the schools.
