Life Grew up in Elmwood, then Yorkshire during the 50's 60's. 4 siblings and lots of fun in East York. Played outside all day, home by dinner, parents had no idea what we were up to, but they were working and we were on our own. Loved Playland swimming pool. SCHOOLS: Spent 12 years in Catholic schools, St. Joe's, then York Catholic, graduating in 1965. HS era highlight was seeing the Beatles twice, in Baltimore and DC. and attending a basketball game in Baltimore where York Catholic played a game prior to the Baltimore Bullets playing the Boston Celtics. I'll never forget Bill Russell sitting behind me, watching the HS game prior to their game where the Celtics annihilated the Bullets. York Junior College 1965-67, then transferred. Graduated from West Chester in 1969, taught 3rd grade for 6 years before moving to VA with my husband, where we had 2 kids in 2 years, , then returned to York.
