Margaret's Story
in 1994 I got married to my first husband David Ruscoe who wasn't a very nice man to me and didn't stay true to his vows he lied a lot and abused me we lived in Pennsylvania and because he had family there and i had no one there to turn to for help i stayed silent years later i finally told his family about him after he had past away in 2011 it was just like I thought they didn't believe me I eventually became terrified of any one getting close to me I was no longer that happy person that some of you remembered most of the times at school it was very hard for me to make friends and I often wanted to be left alone yes like many of you I too had a disability but mine was very sever if it was not for the tutoring that I went through before c...Expand for more
lasses started I would never had graduated teachers took time out of their schedule to offer tutoring to me other kids at school made fun of me because I was so far behind and you know what's even sadder one who I thought was my best friend in school turned her back on me she was one of the students who also was making fun of me but when I confronted her about it she denied it right to my face even my own mom couldn't come to terms with my sever disability and started to abuse me as well any way I'm 52 now living on my own I am separated from my second husband who was no better than my first husband I have two sweet cats that are my emotional support pets I'm no longer that skinny person anymore I've gained quiet a bit of weight since school
