Margaret's Story
Life
Life is good. I realized some time ago that althought the things I've always wanted were simple . . . they were also pretty impossible to achieve. And, somehow, I've managed to get everything I've ever wanted. I have great work that I find rewarding and worthwhile. I have a stable and happy home with a great partner. I have a huge family of friends, relations, and pets. I pretty much have nothing to complain about.
As for the details - I am the director of a rape crisis center. It is work that I find challenging, redeeming, and I love working with volunteers.

ily. We have four-legged "children" -- cats and a dog. We have been together long enough (moving in quickly on 20 years) that we have come to what can only be "happily ever after."
Bruce is a european history professor. I like to think of myself as the "den mother" of the history department.
I love to cook. I pretty much get to be the center of attention from what I whip up. It's not even bragging to say that I make the best brownies ever.
