Margaret's Story
UPDATE: 2016
Jim and I now live on Cass Lake, MN. Our attachments to Mpls include our 2 boys and 4 grandkids.
Jim is still a catch and release Muskie fisherman and a walleye enthuseist. He has now returned to deer and duck hunting now that he is retired.
I have been retired from teaching for 10 years now. Time really moves fast. I am now in a singing group in Bemidji and even have a 'special vest".
Our son, Brian, has a business named Liquid Motion and does flair bartending and works many events. His wife is Tisa and they have 4 children 9 months to 7.5. They are delightful and we see them frequently.
Jay just moved to Savage and works for Corpoprate Best Buy.
My flowers are growning well this spring. And the docks go in tomorrow.
UPDATE: 2010
Jim and I have 2 fantastic grandchildren age 20 months and 7 months. We see them every day we are in Blaine. Brian and Tisa are building a house and are presently living with us in Blaine. Who could ask for anything more fulfilling?
UPDATE: 2009
Both Jim and I have retired now. We enjoy our time on Cass Lake, MN and now live in TREE'S Harbor on the north end of Allen's Bay. It is quite an upgrade from the mobile home we lived in for 23 years across the bay at Sunset Cove.

Life: 2007
Married classmate Jim Zachau in 1972. Soon after, we moved to the cites. We have two sons - Brian (Tisa) and Jay. Both live in Mpls. We also have a 'senior' dog.
Jim is still with Burlington Northern Sante Fe RR. In 2006 I retired from teaching elementary students. I taught in Litchfield (1 year), Albany (.5 year), and the remainder in Spring Lake Park. Thirty two years was great but I was ready to leave. We live in Blaine, MN
Jim is an avid fisherman and especially likes to catch and release Muskies on Cass Lake. We spend a lot of time at the lake.

Workplace
I worked for the St. Cloud Recreation Department all through the college years. Taught in Litchfield and then a partial year at Albany. Jim was promoted to St. Paul and I did some substitute teaching. In 1975 I became full time in Spring Lake Park. I taught mostly in grade 3. My last five years before retiring in 2006 were assigned to the Title One program where I worked with at risk readers and managed four paraprofessionals and one other teacher.
