Hi everyone, Here is a fast catch up on almost 50 years--how can you do that in a nut shell? And how can that much time have flown by so quickly? I attended Oakland High School from 1958 to 1960. After my junior year my family moved to Fair Oaks, California. I really missed my old friends from Oakland but soon met wonderful new friends at San Juan High School. Yes, I agree, high school can be the most wonderful time of your life but the most trying also. Have been having fun in the last few years catching up with old friends from those high school days. I went on to college, first at University of the Pacific for two years where pledged D.G., transferred to University of California at Davis for one year to catch up on chemistry and the sciences and then went to the University of California Medical Center in dental hygiene for two years. I met my husband on Balboa Island in Newport Beach. What fun we had in a beach town! I lost Larry after 38 years of marriage 3 years ago. We had two daughters together. One was a professional athlete after college and the other turned out to be quite a business woman. I have a grandson now who is 21 months and all boy. Can't wait until he is just a bit older to take him fishing, hiking, biking and don't forget sledding. Our favorite places together are the zoo and anywhe...Expand for more
