Margaret's Story
When I graduated from St. Dominic's I worked fulltime at the N Y Stock Exchange. A few years later I married Bob Jennings. Bob and I divorced in 1975. He passed away at the age of 62. We had five children. Lost my boy, Harold, ten years ago. He was the swimmer. My others have all been successful at their endeavors. My oldest wrote for Disney. She produced "Beaches" (Margaret South).
Others are teachers and speach pathologist.
At the age of forty I worked for AT&T. Moved to California and worked for Atlantic Richfield. I am now retired and live in Perry, Georgia. I like the South very much. Especially the climate. Since my retirement I have been teaching piano. But I w...Expand for more
ill be retiring soon. I love classical music. I also play duplicate Bridge and party bridge when I have the time.
I have travelled some. Visited South America Ireland, and Europe.
I really don't know how my old friends remember me, but I do remember some very interesting people that graduated with me in 1947. Irene O'Hara, Maryanne O'Hare, Veronica Psota, Dorothy Sheib, Claire Cross, Caroline Satietz, Lois Treger, Lilliam Zembryski. These are just a few. I know there are more interesting girls (ladies). I just can't think of them right now. Oh, yes, and Jane Hanley. Anyhow, will return with some more thoughts of the girls from St. Dominic's. Let me know about yourself.
