Margaret's Story
Ladycliff Academy - '63, Ladycliff College - '67. Married Jerry Macedo, swim coach, West Point - '67. San Jose, CA '69 - present. Taught middle school '69 - '08, retired. Son Matthew, 34, world class swimmer, high school and college (UCBerkeley) All-American, 2008 Olympic coach - Trinidad / Tobago, Associate Head Coach of Men's Swimming, UC Santa Barbara currently.
Still a New Yawka at heart, love the Hudson River Valley, memories of Ladycliff Academy and College, downtown Peekskill while growing up in the 50's and '60's, Sorrento's Rest...Expand for more
aurant, the Paramount Theater, the Hollowbrook Drive-In, the Carvel across Oregon Road, Emery Hill Gardens, hostessing at the Bear Mountain Inn, dancing at the Village Barn and the Hideaway in Mahopac and at the Trading Post in Fort Montgomery, viewing the autumn leaves on drives up the Taconic. Love being in touch with former classmates and students. Enjoy the Bay Area, lots to do, many places to see. Reading, enjoying my emails, visiting with friends, playing Mexican Train keep me out of trouble! Life is good!
