Margaret's Story
Life
I was married to Dan for almost 47 years. We live in Avon Lake, Ohio. I have moved to a condo since the passing of my husband. We met each other in 1966. And married in 1969. We have two children. Lori is 45 and Dennis is 43. Two Grandchildren, T.K. who is 25, and Eloise who is 12 years old. She is quite a character compared to her brother. We use love to go camping. We use to camp at Clare-Mar-Lakes, in Wellington ,Ohio. We were there for 27 years now. We highly recommend the Campground to anyone. Except for the new price increase. Lots of things to do and close to places to go. But we gave up camping. I like to make some crafts. Life has had it ups and down's BUT I have been happy. My husband Dan retired from Ford this July (2008) Want to relax for awhile. Then who knows. My husband Dan has been working since He has been 14 it's time to relax for for now . Enjoy life. But having Dan pass away has been different. Your life actually changes and you go onto a journey. Well someone requested my story and I don't think they read this. Peg Zunt- Kolofer Our daughter Lori was sick this winter of 2010, she had four strokes, and is recovering. We our grateful we still have her in our lives, and she has come thru this ordeal. We gave up camping now, and are just doing all sorts of things. My husband passed away in January of 2015. My daughter lives with me which has helped me a lot. Grieve is a hard thing to go through. Trying to recover. God Bless, all. My husband has been in heaven for almost 4 years in January. The best thing I did was to move out of our family home. It has helped me heal the most. I moved to a Condo. I finally sold my home. My life had changed since the passing of my husband. We knew each other for 50 years but married almost 47 years. My new Journey has been so different. I am adjusting and been putting my faith in God to get me over this last hurdle so I may go on. I give everyone blessing and prayers. In 2022 I became a great grandmother to a boy named Bruce Kelsey Burk...Bruce is now 18 months old. I watch him 3 days a week. Since he has been born, or two months old. My second Granddaughter is going to graduate this year and will be attending the universary of Findley.
