Margaret's Story
Life
In high school my favorite classes were geography and history. I have enjoyed the opportunites to travel to many special places and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to learn about different cultures and peoples thru some of the friends I have met along the way.
I have four children. 3 sons[one now deceased] and 1 beautiful daughter. 8 grandchildren.5 great grandchildren. A wonderful husband and comfortable home. I moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1974. I LOVE IT HERE> It is like being on a 365 day vacation every year!
I get back to Mt. Vernon quite regularly. Usually in May and again in the fall. I still have cousins and uncles who live there. It is always a treet to come 'home' but I don't want to live there anymore. Too cold ha. We do not get much cold or snow in the south.

ld love to pen pal with anyone from the old school. Or should I say schools. I also attended Bethel, Horace Mann, St. Mary's.
College
After being away from schools since 1960, In 1989 I went back to college. I graduated with an Associate degree in Tourism---HMRT--which is Hotel, Motel, Restaurant Tech. I worked in some of the motel and hotel establishments in the Gulf Coast area of Mississippi for several years. It was interesting and fun to be able to work in a field where it is possible to meet and get to know so many varied aspects of life and it's people. Ill health forced my retirement in 1998. College, well I think it would have been easier at a younger age [smile] but I did it and am proud I was able to do so. Those 'young' whipersnappers got nothing on me! Go for it--it is a great adventure.
