Margaret's Story
Rudy and I were married 40+ years, got married right after my high school graduation and he got home from Viet Nam.
We've lived in WA since 1981 and he's been working here for 26 years. Rudy's about to retire. We're trying figure out whether to move or not when he retires.
We've lived in Colorado(Army), back to California, then to Washington (Army), back to California, and then back to Washington again.
We raised three daughters Mona(Ramona) is 40 now lives with me,
Renee' & Gina(Regina)are 37 (yep! twins) both live here in WA and one in heaven(Rachelle).

In March 2010, we got some bad news, Rudy has Glioblastoma Multiforme Stage 4 Brain Cancer and he had surgery to remove brain tumor. He's now had 4 recurrences, had Gammaknife 4 times and now they have added infusions of Avastin to shrink the tumor. Avastin did not stop, tumors started growing on both sides of his brain.
In Nov. 2011, they told us they had no more treatments to offer Rudy. He passed away on Dec. 10, 2011. He is greatly missed and was the "Rock" of our family. Brain Cancer has affected the whole family.
He had planned on retiring this May 31, 2010,Rudy never got to retire.
Now I have to go on with my life with out Rudy.
