Margery Edwards:  

There have been many varied chapters to my life since MVHS. I recently retired after helping to create and sustain an Alternative School for 28 years. We were committed to the understanding that all children are gifted and talented, and took seriously the job of helping them to discover and develop those gifts and talents. It was a wonderful, rewarding career. I taught just about everything overt those years, but my specialties were Drama, Algebra, and History through Drama. I am still doing some tutoring with students who struggle with 2nd grade math. About the same time I moved from the house in North Seattle I had lived in for 28 years and bought a sweet little 1919 house a block from the beach in two directions on Alki Point. I don't have a water view, but I have easy access. I am grateful every day for living here. I walk the beach often, and entertain friends at the firepits sometimes. ...Expand for more
