Margie Lib's Story
I lived in Rock Hill during all my school years in the Friendship community off Reservation road.I worked for JP Stevens for 13 years. I Went to Lacarnes Beauty college ,got my cosmetology license, worked for Lacarnes as the financial aid director for a few years. Worked in Beatty mall at the Aristocrat Styling Salon.I went to work at Philip Morris in 1987.We Moved to Harrisburg,NC in 1997. I worked at Philip Morris until I retired. I was on the Executive Board as Financial Secretary/Treasurer for our local union for 10 years prior to retirement.Enjoyed my position at PM where I was a Mt3 Technician in the ciga...Expand for more
rette manufacturing department.Made lots of friends there.PM employed over 2500 people there. Now sadly that facility is closing at the end of this year I have been a widow for 4 years so 2 years ago I moved back to Rock Hill...........so here I am Just me and the Good Lord. I travel a lot and want Heaven to be my last trip.
I always wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right .Too bad I didn't pursue that career..
My favorite way to relax is to read.
My hero is Jesus and I get my inspiration from the Bible and attending Church.
