After graduation, I moved to Jewel, NY to be with my mom. There I went to school for home health. After graduation I got a job in hospice. It was very rewarding but very emotional. I worked there about 7 years. It was one afternoon when I was on my way home that I got in a terrible car accident. They had to use the "jaws of life" to get me out of the car. I was out of work for over a year, taking a lot of painkillers that weren't really helping. I was so depressed and down and out that I was contemplating suicide on my 27th birthday the only thing that was stopping me was that I did not want to devastate my mother, dad and sister. Well to make a long story short I met a man in a city park who spoke to me about the Lord Jesus Christ and how I could be saved. I did not want anything to do with him or God.
