Maria's Story
Life
I am living in San Antonio with my fiance, Travis, who is pretty much my husband except we just haven't gotten around to getting married. I started feeling silly calling him my fiance after years of being engaged, so people mostly think of us as married already. We have no kids (yet) but have pets, vehicles and a home together. My family still lives in the Harper/Kerrville area, and Travis' family is in Medina, so we visit the Hill Country every other weekend or so. earing any makeup because I am pretty low-maintenance. And oh yeah, I'm about 50 pounds heavier than in high school. I'm working on changing that, though.
School
I really liked Art class with Mrs. Cathy Fritz and English with Mr. Wade Boone. They were both great teachers that inspired me to be more creative. I also loved being in the band, dorky as everyone thinks that is. I found out when I got to college that people in the band are thought of as "nerds". I guess I was totally oblivious to that in high school.
